Here’s yet another violent and harsh act that exudes a nightmarish stench of sociopathy and unrestrained creative boundaries that makes my ears bleed from its shrill fucked up black metal assault. Ives hail from Florida and create vortexes of crusty turbulent black metal that is really beyond a fair description aside from that just said.

The vocals sometimes sound like a mutant species of Integrity and throaty black thrash, while the songs range from whiplash inducing thrash infested with an ugly crust/death punk tone in the guitars to more of the lo-fi sounds of Revenge and Beherit/Archgoat. So if you’re looking for ugly, unique, and hypnotic with a gratuitous dose of mental abuse than Ives is the choice to make.
